The Evidence

The Story of Andrew Columbia

           A Powerful Journey of Transformation

"The Evidence"

New York City Police Officer (1987-1997):
Andrew served in the Lower East Side of Manhattan (Alphabet City), known for crime and violence. His personal struggles and job pressures turned him into an angry, aggressive officer who wrestled with rage and prejudice.

• Life-Changing Rooftop Encounter:
During a moment of intense anger, Andrew was on the verge of pulling the trigger, ready to end his pain. But instead, he cried out to God in desperation, asking if He was real and loved him. On that rooftop, God revealed Himself, changing Andrew’s life and heart forever.

• A New Mission:
Following this divine encounter, Andrew was radically transformed. His new passion became sharing God's love, mercy, and grace, even with the criminals he arrested. His message was simple: "If God can save me, He can save anyone."

• From Officer to Pastor:
Andrew’s life took another turn as he began pursuing ministry while still a police officer. Eventually, he left law enforcement and transitioned to full-time ministry, despite having a successful career opportunity in the financial industry.

• Challenges and Sacrifices:
Andrew faced difficulties within his family and personal life as he chose ministry over material wealth. He never regretted his decision, as he continued to step out in faith, fully committed to God's call.

• Global Impact as a Pastor and Evangelist:
Andrew’s ministry grew as he traveled the world, preaching to crowds as large as 50,000. He witnessed thousands come to Christ and saw miraculous healings and deliverances. His ministry expanded across Africa, Pakistan, Europe, the Caribbean, and the United States.

• Deliverance Ministry and Spiritual Warfare:
A major part of Andrew's ministry involves confronting evil spirits and praying for deliverance. His spiritual battles and challenges in ministry have strengthened his faith and devotion to God.

• Author and Chaplain:
Andrew wrote a book titled TRANSFORMED, sharing his testimony of God's power in his life. He now serves as a chaplain for several law enforcement agencies and first responders, offering hope to others who have experienced trauma.

• Peer Leader for First Responders:
Partnering with the nonprofit organization Guardian Revival, Andrew provides counseling and support to veterans, law enforcement officers, and first responders, helping them heal from their traumatic wounds.

• A Mission to Spread Hope:
Andrew’s story shows that no one is beyond God's reach. His transformation from a broken cop to a global evangelist demonstrates God's love, grace, and power. Andrew’s message: If God can save and heal me, He can do it for anyone.

Why "The Evidence" Matters:
Andrew’s story is gritty, raw, and real—a testimony of how God can radically transform a life. His journey offers hope to anyone struggling with pain, anger, or despair. This film has the power to inspire and lead people toward healing, redemption, and a relationship with Jesus Christ. The evidence? God's love changes lives.

I met Pastor Andrew at a memorial site for some fallen officers in Florida, we kept in touch ever since. I have visited his church and he has visited mine up here in Canada, where we held an outreach weekend, preaching and counselling first responders. We had very positive feedback from the event and officers still mention it to me today!

Andrew and I were cops together and I knew Andrew before he encountered Jesus on that roof in Harlem. His encounter was a true miracle of transformation by the power of the living God. He went from a an angry, bitter, mad at the world man, to a kind, loving, and gentle soul. I highly recommend you read the book.

As the Lead Pastor of the Fountain of Life, Burlington, New Jersey, I was planning to honor First Responders in one of our Sunday worship services. We invited police, firefighters and EMS workers from six different municipalities. It was an incredible success. I invited Rev. Andrew Columbia to be our guest speaker. Being a former police officer in New York City, he was able to connect with the officers and the other first responders in a way that I believe few people could.

I have known Rev. Andrew Columbia for 25 years. He relates on so many levels. His testimony is riveting. His delivery is non-threatening, and he does it all with a true love for God and for people. If you are considering a service or program in which you will be honoring First Responders, to say I highly recommend Rev Andrew Columbia would be an understatement. He is a true minister who will leave a lasting impact.

Several years ago we had Andrew at our church sharing about his life changing experience at a NYC roof top. I’ve got to tell you, It was so deeply personal, touching and inspiring. His encounter with God brought hope and encouragement to us all. I believe he would be a great blessing to all who would hear his testimony.

I am a retired master sergeant and lead a first responder ministry in Miami, Fl. I’ve been blessed to know Andrew for many years, after we met through a mutual friend. From the moment I met him, I could see and feel the joy of The Lord in him. He has shared his testimony a few times at our gatherings, and every time it has been moving. So many stay after the meeting to speak with him. If you do not know his story, I would encourage you to read his book. If you doubt God’s existence, take time to read it. God loves you and is able to meet you where you are. Andrew’s story is proof of that.
